In his talk last Thursday, Ed Freeman discussed the sustainability of businesses and maintaining stakeholder relationships over time. He asserts that the main function of businesses is creating value for their stakeholders. However, he did not specifically speak to the preservation of this value over time. Given this constant environmental change, companies would have to constantly change themselves. What are some ways that companies can proactively explore the business landscape to anticipate changes and thrive?
