This would completely revolutionize global production. I wonder what would happen to the traditional “suppliers:” the factory laborers, the transportation workers, all the management staff, the farmers who cultivate the raw materials, etc.?
I found myself wondering about the same thing. I imagine the shipping industry would entirely collapse. However, this could also mean the rise of a completely different industry…
This idea would be fantastic, also I think it would be amazing if the process could be reversed so you could one day “scan” items and send them electronically.
I hope this is the next step beyond stationary 3D printing!

Yea in a similar way I was thinking, it would be amazing if there were a scanner function that could basically reverse engineer a product.

3D printers and things of that nature are fascinating in my opinion. If this were ever to become realistic I think it would change a lot!
